We are helping to develop a next generation air traffic management system that uses GPS satellites rather than radar. This allows planes to fly closer together and land more quickly without sacrificing safety. And just improving our air traffic control system can reduce our dependence on foreign oil by 1%, saving 50 million barrels of oil and over 18 million tons of Co2 emissions.
